Movie legend has died today in a tragic car accident

Grant Page, the legendary Australian stuntman known for his work in the *Mad Max* franchise, tragically died in a car accident in New South Wales on October 16, 2024, at the age of 85.

While driving alone, he crashed into a tree, and despite quick response from emergency services, he did not survive.

His son Leroy described him as a “legend” who was in high spirits and working on upcoming films. Page’s illustrious career included roles in *The Man from Hong Kong*, *Deathcheaters*, and *Furiosa*.

Tributes poured in from friends and colleagues, with former manager Brian Trenchard-Smith praising his extraordinary talent. Director Jamie Blanks expressed sorrow over the loss of a “wonderful, kind” friend. Page is survived by his four sons, ex-wife Joy, and ex-partner Ulli, leaving behind a remarkable legacy in the film industry.
