Kristi Lynn Noem and Bryon Noem both grew up in rural South Dakota. Kristi was born on November 30, 1971, in Watertown and raised on a family ranch in Hamlin County. Bryon grew up on a farm near Bryant, later earning a degree in business finance from Northern State University.
