Harris Faulkner and Tony Berlin’s enduring romance — the secret to keeping their marriage strong after two decades

Harris Faulkner and Tony Berlin: A Marriage Built on Strength
Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner has built her career on strength and resilience—qualities that also define her 23-year marriage to Tony Berlin.

From Rivals to Romance

Their love story began not with sparks, but with competition. In Minneapolis, Faulkner anchored at ABC affiliate KSTP, while Berlin worked at the CBS station across town. They first met at a birthday party—Berlin arrived with a date, and Faulkner later joked, “In my mind, he was fired.”

Despite the rocky first impression, they quickly became friends. Six months later, Berlin asked her out, and this time, sparks flew. Within a year, he proposed by Lake Superior on what Faulkner remembers as the warmest day of the summer. They married in Arizona in 2003.

Blending Faith and Family
One of the couple’s strongest bonds is how they’ve embraced their differences in faith. Faulkner is a Christian Baptist; Berlin is Jewish. Instead of letting religion divide them, they blended traditions to raise their daughters, Bella and Danika, with both Christian and Jewish values.

“We share every meal. We share a prayer,” Faulkner has said. “Our faiths have more in common than people realize.” Their home life reflects unity, from celebrating holidays together to sharing quiet family dinners.

Supporting Each Other’s Careers
As Faulkner rose from Fox Report Weekend to hosting The Faulkner Focus, Berlin transitioned from television to public relations, founding Berlin Media Relations in 2011.

Now living in Edgewater, New Jersey, they juggle busy careers while prioritizing family life. Faulkner often credits her husband for his steadfast support, saying, “I married an amazing guy. I couldn’t do it without him.”

Defying the Odds
Some doubted their interfaith marriage, calling it a “red flag,” but the couple has proven that love and respect can overcome any difference.

“Tony made me better from the moment I met him,” Faulkner has said. “He’s my forever boyfriend.”

After more than two decades together, Harris Faulkner and Tony Berlin stand as proof that lasting love knows no bounds.
