Ivana’s Enduring Legacy

Ivana Marie Trump, born in Czechoslovakia in 1949, built a life story that spanned continents and careers. After living in Canada in the 1970s, she moved to the United States. She married Donald Trump in 1977, and together they became a power couple in New York’s high society throughout the 1980s.

As vice president of interior design for the Trump Organization, Ivana left her mark on iconic projects like Trump Tower, blending elegance with bold vision. She also served as CEO and president of Trump’s Castle casino resort and managed the Plaza Hotel, earning respect for her sharp business instincts.

Beyond the boardroom, Ivana developed her own successful lines of fashion and beauty products, authored books, and raised three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric, who have each spoken about the values she instilled in them.

A Son’s Lasting Gratitude

Donald Trump Jr., the eldest of Ivana’s children, has often spoken warmly of his mother’s influence in his life. As a father of five, he has credited her with setting an example that continues to guide him today.
