Donald Trump Jr. honors mother Ivana in heartfelt anniversary tribute

Three years after losing his mother, Ivana Trump, Donald Trump Jr. turned to Instagram to share a message straight from the heart.

Posted on July 14, 2025, his tribute, “Mom we miss you and love you”, appeared alongside a collection of family photographs that spoke volumes about her lasting presence in their lives.

Ivana’s Enduring Legacy

Ivana Marie Trump, born in Czechoslovakia in 1949, built a life story that spanned continents and careers. After living in Canada in the 1970s, she moved to the United States. She married Donald Trump in 1977, and together they became a power couple in New York’s high society throughout the 1980s.

As vice president of interior design for the Trump Organization, Ivana left her mark on iconic projects like Trump Tower, blending elegance with bold vision. She also served as CEO and president of Trump’s Castle casino resort and managed the Plaza Hotel, earning respect for her sharp business instincts.

Beyond the boardroom, Ivana developed her own successful lines of fashion and beauty products, authored books, and raised three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric, who have each spoken about the values she instilled in them.

A Son’s Lasting Gratitude

Donald Trump Jr., the eldest of Ivana’s children, has often spoken warmly of his mother’s influence in his life. As a father of five, he has credited her with setting an example that continues to guide him today.

In his tribute post, the combination of heartfelt words and cherished photos reflected a son’s enduring bond with his mother, one built on respect, admiration, and love. The images showed Ivana not just as a celebrated businesswoman, but as the vibrant heart of a close-knit family.

Shared Pride and Lasting Respect

Though Ivana and Donald Trump divorced in 1990, they remained connected through their children and shared pride in their accomplishments. Now serving his second term as president, Donald Trump has often spoken warmly of Ivana’s drive, style, and devotion to their family, while she expressed pride in his achievements over the years.

Ivana Trump is buried at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey, a place tied to many family gatherings. Three years after her passing, Donald Trump Jr.’s post served as a reminder that her legacy lives on, in the projects she built, the family she raised, and the values she passed down.
