Nexstar and Sinclair, ABC’s two largest station owners, announced they will not broadcast Jimmy Kimmel Live! after the host falsely claimed Charlie Kirk was murdered by a MAGA supporter.
ABC suspended the show indefinitely, and insiders say Disney may consider canceling it altogether.
A Kimmel staffer, speaking anonymously, warned that even an apology may not restore the show, while FCC Chairman Brendan Carr said he is weighing an investigation into Kimmel’s comments.
The controversy comes after authorities confirmed the suspect had leftist views, not ties to MAGA.
