The first episode of the Yüz Yıllık Mucize (One Hundred Years of Miracles), which started broadcasting on Thursday evenings, met with the audience last week.
Considering the posts made by Ebru Şahin fans from all over the world, the idea that the series would make a very good debut came to the fore. However, the first episode ratings were lower than expected, and even Star TV officials were stunned by this situation.
It was remarkable that the duo of Birkan Sokullu and Ebru Şahin met in a somewhat fanstastic story. However, although this situation of attracting attention is widespread on social media, it did not find a response in the ratings.
It is expected to reach average ratings with the second episode of the series. In other words, it is calculated that much better rates can come from the first part. Of course, this is a big rating test.
So Thursday’s competition is pretty tough. In such a challenging environment, it is not so easy for Star TV’s Yüz Yıllık Mucize to achieve very good results.
A very tough exam will be given on behalf of Ebru Şahin and Birkan Sokullu on Thursday, March 30th. The fact that the series did not make a good debut in the second episode will be perceived as very negative.
A user’s message on social media also revealed how important the series is:
“Yüz Yıllık Mucize has been meeting the need for normative, national and social series in Turkish TV series for a long time. A series full of surreal historical and national values. The life story of a timeless national struggle hero.”
